Olemme loppuvaiheen sosiaalialan opiskelijoita Diakonia-ammattikorkeakoulusta, ja suoritamme kehittämistyön harjoittelua OTE-hankkeessa. Löysimme hankkeen projektipäällikkö Heli Sipilän mainostaessa hanketta sähköpostitse sekä Diakin omilla nettisivuilla.
OTE-hankkeessa olemme päässeet kehittämään muun muassa urasuunnittelun mallia Diakille, Muutoksentekijä -osaamismerkkiä sekä OTE-hankkeen sisältöjen integroitumista Diakin eri koulutuksiin. Näitä olemme päässeet työstämään niin yhdessä kuin itsenäisestikin. Hankkeen yksi keskeisimmistä teemoista on yhteiskehittäminen, joka on näkynyt mukana koko harjoittelumme ajan – koemme, että sen myötä opiskelijan näkökulma on tullut vahvasti kehitystyön ytimeen
Hankkeessa parasta on ollut hankeyhteisön tuki ja luottamus, jotka ovat lisänneet uskoa omaan osaamiseen ja rohkeutta tuoda omia ideoita muiden nähtäville. Lisäksi hankeharjoittelu on opettanut paljon pitkäjänteisyyttä, itseohjautuvuutta sekä yhteistyötaitoja kaksikielisessä tiimissä.
Hankeharjoittelu on ollut erityisen antoisaa, josta suuri kiitos kuuluu loistavalle projektipäällikölle Helille. Suosittelemme hankeharjoittelua kaikille, joilla on pienikin innostus kehittämistyöhön!”

“Hello!
We are final year social services students from Diakonia University of Applied Sciences, and we are doing an internship in development work in the OTE project. We found our project via our supervisor, Heli Sipilä, while she was promoting the project via email and on Diak’s own website.
In the OTE project we have been able to develop several things, for example the career planning model for Diak, Muutoksentekijä digital badge and the contents of various Diak’s courses. We have been able to work on these both together and independently. One of the key themes of the project is co-development, which has been present throughout our internship – we feel that it has given a strong voice to the student perspective.
The best thing about the project has been the support and trust of the project community, which has given us more confidence in our own skills and the courage to bring our own ideas to the attention of others. In addition, the project internship has taught us a lot about perseverance, self-direction and cooperation skills in a bilingual team.
The project internship has been particularly rewarding, and biggest thanks goes to our excellent supervisor, Heli. We highly recommend project internship to all who have even the slightest interest in development work.”
